I am the light of the world; he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. - Jesus, John 8:12

Jesus truely is the light of the world, and the Word of God 1. The Bible tells us that through Him, all thing were created. It tells us that everyone who believes on Him will have eternal life 2. It also tells us of His return, the end of this age, and the beginning of the age to come. We all know that the Bible tells us these things, but what other questions does the Bible answer?

Does the Bible mention any people on the earth before Adam and Eve? It does.

Science tells us that there were once dinosaurs on the earth. Why doesn't the Bible mention this? It does.

Does the Bible mention anything about Satan from before the garden of Eden? It does, and it will probably surprise you.

Does the Bible say anything about what foods will keep you healthy, and which you shouldn't eat? It does, and it is just as relevant today as it was back when it was written.

Did God really say that Adam and Eve couldn't eat apples? No, but the Bible does tell us what really happened. Knowing this helps us to understand the consequences of the sin for Eve, and it also helps us to better understand the story of Cain and Able.

How did all the races on the earth today come from just Adam and Eve? The Bible doesn't say that they did. What it does say is simpler than you might expect.

Why aren't America and Russia ever mentioned in any of the prophecies in the Bible? They are.

As I have studied the Bible in more detail, I have found answers to more questions that I would have ever thought to ask. The more I study, the more I find. The Bible grows as you read it. There is no other book that does this, and no other book that can bring the peace and strength that the Bible does. Knowing what happened before, what is happening now, and what will happen in the near future, makes everything so much easier.

The first Bible study I would like to present answers some of the questions above, and talks about what happened in the beginning. It is a work in progress, as every Bible study would have to be. I'm sure there will be more that I will want to add from time to time, some from what I learn as I continue to study, and some from additional Bible chapters and verses that you will bring to my attention as you study. I will post other sections of this study as I complete them.

The Bible studies are in pdf format, which you can read using the free Acrobat Reader program.
